Creating a Task Manager

The Task Manager in Bloom helps you organize and track tasks within your projects or leads. You can create multiple task managers, each containing its own set of tasks.


Where to find the Task Manager

You can access the Task Manager inside any project or lead:

  1. Go to Projects or Leads

  2. Open a project or lead

  3. Scroll to the Tasks section

  4. Click + Add Task or + Task Manager


What is a Task Manager?

A Task Manager is a group of tasks within a project or lead.

  • You can create multiple task managers

  • Each one can be used for different workflows (e.g. onboarding, delivery, follow-ups)


Creating a task

To create a task:

  1. Click + Add Task

  2. Enter a task title

  3. Add optional details:

    • Due date

    • Assignee

    • Status

  4. Add a description if needed

  5. Click Save


Assigning tasks

You can assign tasks to:

  • Team members

  • Project contacts

This helps keep everyone aligned on what needs to be completed.


Showing tasks in the client portal

You have full control over what clients can see.

At the Task Manager level

You can choose to:

  • Show all tasks in the client portal

  • Hide the entire task manager from the client


At the individual task level

You can also:

  • Show or hide specific tasks from the client portal


Managing tasks

For each task, you can:

  • Update the status (Incomplete or Completed)

  • Edit details at any time

  • Add descriptions and attachments

  • Assign or reassign as needed
