If you need to set up automatic recurring invoices, there are a few ways you can do this.

  1. Toggle on "Make Recurring" when creating your Bloom invoice.

When creating your invoice, click "Options" and turn on make recurring. This will allow you to recreate this invoice every day, week, or month, based on your settings.

Note that this method automatically sends each invoice but does not collect payment automatically.

  2. Set up automatic payments in Stripe.

To collect credit card payments in Bloom, you'll need to connect a Stripe or Square account. If you use Stripe, it's possible to charge your client automatically.

When you receive payment in Bloom, it creates a customer in your Stripe account. If you log into Stripe and view that customer, it is possible to add a subscription that automatically charges your client based on your settings.

Note, it will charge automatically and notify your client. It is recommended that you and your client have a written agreement regarding the payment plan.

Please reference this Stripe article to learn how to create a subscription in Stripe.
